GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a global certification standard for organic textiles. It ensures that the entire supply chain of textile production, from raw materials to finished products, follows strict environmental and social responsibility standards.
To obtain GOTS certification, textile products must meet the following criteria:
Raw materials
At least 95% of the fibers used in the textiles must be organic, complying with recognized organic agricultural standards.
Production process
Environmentally friendly methods must be used, including the prohibition of harmful chemicals, water and energy conservation, and responsible wastewater and waste management.
Social responsibility
Fair working conditions, no forced or child labor, and protection of workers' rights and welfare must be ensured.
