To protect these handcrafted pillows made with soft materials, we recommend partial cleaning rather than full immersion to extend their life. We are committed to using 100% recycled and eco-friendly materials(RPET) for all of our knotted pillows to minimise our environmental impact.

Here are the steps to maintain the cleanliness and freshness of your knotted pillow:

1. Prepare a clean cloth and moisten it with warm water.
2. Use this damp cloth to gently wipe the stained area of the knot balls, followed by applying a small amount of mild detergent or stain remover.
3. Scrub gently by making circular motions until the stain is gone.
4. Remove any soap residue with a cloth moistened with water to ensure a clean "rinse".
5. Finally, leave the knot pillow in a ventilated area to dry naturally.

We don't usually recommend washing your cozy stress pillows in a washing machine, as machine washing may damage its unique winding structure. However, you may want to consider machine washing if hand cleaning methods do not remove the stain. In this case, be sure to set your washer's spin cycle to its lowest setting.

Inside the washer, place your knotted or decorative pillows in the bottom separately to avoid washing them with other laundry. For extra protection, you can place your pillow in a white pillowcase or special laundry bag. Add the appropriate amount of detergent and start the wash program.

After washing, the pillow knots should be placed in a well-ventilated area to dry naturally. If the pillow's manufacturer's instructions allow it, you can also choose to dry it in the dryer using the lowest temperature setting.

Keep in mind that while machine washing pillows is convenient and quick, frequent machine washing may result in damage to the pillow's internal filling, which can affect its support and comfort.

The frequency of cleaning pillow knots depends on the frequency of use and placement. If your knot pillow is on the bed, it will generally not get dirty easily. If it is on the sofa and is touched by many people, it needs to be cleaned in time.

We recommend cleaning every 2-3 months. Regular use can cause dust, body oils, and other grime to accumulate, affecting the cleanliness and overall comfort of your pillow. Especially white knot pillows especially tend to get dirty easily.
